TROUBLESHOOTING

As with all devices using radio frequencies, the immediate environment can affect the quality of the video streaming of a LOOK-IT camera.
- Move to another location and try your camera again. See if the image improves.

- Turn the WI-FI OFF on your smartphone and see if the image improves. On some smartphone, having the WI-Fi connected to a network can slows down the Bluetooth connection and affect the video quality.

-    Some Applications may interfere with the LOOK-IT App functionality such as Bluetooth key finders. Turn these devices off and try again to see if the are the causes.

- You might be out of the Bluetooth range of the camera. Typically, you should get around 25m of distance depending on the surrounding radio and physical interferences.

Make sure of the following:
- Your smartphone Bluetooth is set to "ON"
- The smartphone you are using is the device that was paired with the LOOK-IT™ camera.
- You are in the range for the Bluetooth to work, typically 25m or less
- You have the latest updated software for your LOOK-IT™ camera
- You have the LOOK-IT™ app on your smartphone and you are logged in.
-  Check in your smartphone Bluetooth® setting and see if the device "Look-It cam xy" is in the paired device section

Android® The LOOK-IT™ app has to be running in order for the camera to work. You can see this on the notification bar on the very top, at the left of your screen.
If you have turned OFF you smartphone, the LOOK-IT™ application was also shut down. Restart the LOOK-IT application once, it will stay running until you turn OFF your phone.

On some Android® smartphones (such as ASUS®), the default settings wont keep the LOOK-IT™ application running. In this case, go to the APP settings and changes the configuration of the LOOK-IT™ app for it to stay running

iPHone® The LOOK-IT™ app will stay running as long as it has been opened once. That is even if the smartphone was shut OFF and restarted.
Do not try to stream using the remote control while the LOOK-IT™ app is in the foreground, go in your home page of your smartphone (iPhone will not launch video with the remote control while in the LOOK-IT app).

Reboot the Look-It camera:
Try to reset the LOOK-IT™ cam. In the application menu, under My Camera, click on your camera. Under "Camera Management" menu, find the 'Reboot Camera' function. Click on it, this will reset the camera.

If the video is now working and will not work with your remote control, there might be an issue with the remote control. Verify that the battery in the remote is still good
_____________________________________________________
The LOOK-IT camera will only connect and stream to the smartphone it was originally paired with.
Look in your Bluetooth settings of your smartphone in "MY DEVICES". You should see a device called "Look-it Cam xy" (your camera).

The LOOK-IT camera is using 2 different Bluetooth device to work. Bluetooth classic and Bluetooth Low Energy (ble)

Bluetooth classic: 'Look-It cam xy*' is the device you pair with the code '1-2-3-4'.  Once the 'Look-It cam xy' is paired to your phone, it will be responsible to stream the video on your LOOK-IT application

Bluetooth Low Energy: 'LW RVC ble ou Look-it ctrl" is a device that doesnt need a pairing code to connect to it. This device is responsible for many control options, such as setting your iPhone® passcode, or deleting the paring of your camera. This is medium is used for the functions in Camera Management. It will also prepare the Bluetooth classic connection to your iPhone.  In some cases, the smartphone will ask you to accept the pairing to it, in other cases the smartphone will pair to it without requesting your permission. The connection time and methods really depends on the brand and model.
